English stratospheric EDM group Rudimental in the last couple of years have been unstoppable. With hit after hit, the group made up of Amir Amor, Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, and DJ Locksmith have have won several music awards and have sold millions of records in several countries worldwide.
With the release of their second studio album set to drop next week, rightfully titled “We the Generation“, is set to take the group to even great heights, if that is even possible. In the lead up to the album release, the group released a video for the track – “I will For Love” featuring British soul and Jazz singer Will Heard. The video which has been labelled by some as quasi-political, tells a story of a Mexican family traveling the hard road to a better life in the United States (not if Donald Trump gets elected). The video ends with an advertisement for Amnesty International and one can’t help but think that this is Rudimental’s way of calling on their fans to support and help with the current Syrian refugee crisis. The track and the video are definite bangers and I expect to see and hear a lot of air play of this one.
The new album ” We the Generation” will feature collaborations with Foy Vance, Dizzee Rascal, Ella Eyre and the late Bobby Womack just to name a few, and is set to drop on October 5. GET IT!!
