Michael Jackson The King of Pop.
It’s hard not to dance to a song of his. With his mesmerizing voice, catchy melodies, and groovy beats, he is awarded the spotlight for our Throwback Thursday post this week.
The thing with Jackson is that his songs are timeless. Why? Is it because of his killer vocals, the amazing production work done throughout his albums, or the music videos that coincide with the music itself? Or maybe all of the above and more? Beat It, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, Bad, Thriller… Well, you name it and your neighbour has definitely heard it. His continuous hard work led him to being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame not only once, but twice! That’s a rare delicacy (and Bravo to him!)
It’s no wonder that many artists look up to him, and not just for guidance or inspiration in their music, but in their dancing, and their performance. Word is Michael was the one who invented the moonwalk (and such an iconic move it is today).
Thanks Michael for everything that you’ve done! Your legacy will also live on throughout the entertainment industry.
Here’s a throwback for your Thursday that will hit home for all you Jackson fans out there.
