During an interview on HOT 97’s morning show, Ebro in the Morning, earlier this week, Atlanta, Georgia, rapper T.I. openly discussed all things T.I., including his working relationship with one of hip hop’s most controversial artist Iggy Azalea, who is signed to T.I.’s label Grand Hustle.
When asked about if he was still working personally with Iggy, T.I. shared this:
“Sure,”. “It took a bit of a rest stop. Personally, nah…The thing is, in her defense, she had a lot thrown at her at one time. Any human being anywhere gonna have a hard time…The thing is it’s very difficult to be the new kid and to be the butt of the jokes and to be just directed with all the direction of the negativity. It came at a time where culturally this nation, which she’s not from here, we were actually looking for a source for somewhere to place our pent-up aggression. And they just kinda got it for no reason…In some cases, it was the easiest place to put some pent-up aggression.”
Yesterday, Iggy was quick to respond to the what was said in T.I.’s interview over twitter and it seems she was really not aware of what was going wrong.
