Looking for a Christmas gift for someone special? Consider giving the gift that talks back to you. The Amazon Echo is rocking the tech world with its powerful features created for home based use. Goodbye Siri hello Echo. See what critics are saying about this new device:

“The Echo may be the closest thing we’ll have to a Star Trek computer at home.”
CNET
Echo could hear my voice even when music was playing loudly…”
USA Today“With Amazon Echo, it was love at first sight.”
Re/code

Where was the Amazon Echo when I had to do book reports in school? This little voice controlled fun box can instantly give you information, play music and audio books from Amazon Music, Prime Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio and TunedIn. The Echo also recites the news, weather, sports and traffic instantly. You can speak to the Echo from across the room and it can still hear you unlike Siri, IPhone’s little handheld companion. Amazon keeps the Echo updated from Amazon cloud, therefore it is constantly being updated. The Echo is compatible with select Belkin WeMo, Philips Hue, SmartThings, Insteon, and Wink connected devices to control lights and switches in your home with the sound of your voice. Take that the clapper!

The Amazon Echo is very similar to Siri. The two platforms can’t answer personal questions and think on their own like a robot but they can spew out information. Check out the video that aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live below on the similarity of the Amazon Echo and Siri.

The Simon Says feature on the Amazon Echo has the world pranking their friends. This feature enables you to control what the Echo says with a remote.

This device is definitely on my Christmas list at just $179.99 and free shipping it is definitely one of the more affordable devices of the season.
